How to Download and Install WoW Forever

Step by step

1. Update your graphics drivers.
2. Open the Battle.net app and let it update if it asks to.
3. Select World of Warcraft in the games list.
4. In the Game Version menu above the Play button, choose the version and click Install. The beta and the stress test were listed there under “In Development”.
5. Once it's installed, click Play, choose a ruleset and create your character.

Blizzard hasn't said yet which entry WoW Forever will use in the app from launch.

What you need

• According to Blizzard, WoW Forever is included with a WoW subscription or game time. official
• Invited friends can play without a subscription during launch week, November 4 to 11, with an Invite-A-Friend code from one of the packs. official
• Launch is on Nov 5, 2026 at 12:00 am CET (November 4, 3:00 pm Pacific time), at the same time worldwide. official
• According to Blizzard, WoW Forever runs on Windows and macOS. The minimum graphics card requirements are on our system requirements page. official
