What are Waylaid Crates in WoW Forever?

Shipments that never arrived. You fill a crate with one material bundle, such as 20 Peacebloom or 16 Copper Tubes, and turn it in to your side's profession faction for Merchant's Favor. The beta data contains 30 of these crates across four ranks.

Where do I turn in the crates?

According to fan sites, to the Azeroth Commerce Authority at Three Corners in Redridge Mountains (Alliance) and to Durotar Supply and Logistics outside the west gate of The Crossroads in The Barrens (Horde). Both factions offer the same rewards.

What do I get for Merchant's Favor?

According to fan sites: recipes for the crafting professions (some with a reputation requirement), plus tabards, the Pack Kodo mount and profession certificates. A full list from the game data will follow once the vendors are confirmed.

How do I gain reputation with the profession factions?

According to fan sites, through Craftsman's Writs: orders where you hand in a specific crafted item. In our data, 11 of them give 75 reputation with both factions.

What about the Waylaid Supplies from Season of Discovery?

The game data also contains 104 older entries like “Waylaid Supplies: Copper Bars” and 14 supply shipments. It's not confirmed whether Forever uses them; this page only lists the new Waylaid Crates.
