• Minimum and recommended CPU, graphics card and RAM
• Required disk space
• Exact operating system versions (which Windows and macOS releases)
• Linux, Steam Deck, consoles: none of these are announced. Officially, it's Windows and macOS only.

We don't fill these gaps with guesses. If you see exact numbers somewhere, check whether they cite a Blizzard source.

Will it run on my PC?

Until there's an official list, here's an honest rule of thumb:

• If you play the current WoW or WoW Classic without problems, there's a good chance WoW Forever will run as well. It's a tip, not a promise, because Blizzard hasn't confirmed it. our assessment
• Older PC or laptop? The "Classic" graphics preset and SD models are there for exactly the players who want the old look. They should also be the lighter option. Our tip, not an official performance claim. our assessment
• Very old graphics card? Blizzard has said that cards far below the minimum won't be supported at launch. If yours is many years old, check the official list as soon as it's out. official

Playing with a gamepad

Gamepad support is confirmed. Details like default button layouts aren't public yet. We'll add a guide after launch.

• Make sure your Battle.net account and subscription are ready before launch on Nov 4, 3:00 pm PST: launch time in your time zone.
