The first WoW Forever raids open on Dec 9, 2026: Barrow Deeps for 10 players, Hyjal Summit for 20 and Onyxia's Lair for 40. Here's what we know so far about raid size, bosses and rewards, and which parts are officially confirmed.

Barrow Deeps
- Players: 10 per fan sites
- Bosses: 8 official
- Level: 60 per fan sites
- Opens: Dec 9, 2026
- Three entrances, one of them on Mount Hyjal. official
- Defeating all eight bosses is one of the Legacy System challenges. official
Hyjal Summit
- Players: 20 per fan sites
- Bosses: 13 official
- Level: 60 per fan sites
- Opens: Dec 9, 2026
- New tier sets; a legendary reward is set to follow later. official
- The names of the tier sets and the legendary item are not official yet. Anything circulating comes from datamined game files. unconfirmed
- Defeating all 13 bosses is a Legacy challenge. official
Onyxia's Lair
- Players: 40 per fan sites
- Bosses: not announced
- Level: 60 per fan sites
- Opens: Dec 9, 2026
- The classic 40-player raid returns. That it opens on Dec 9, 2026 has so far only appeared on the roadmap slide. per fan sites
- Defeating Onyxia counts as a Legacy challenge. official

What Comes Next
- Blizzard has announced more raids, dungeons, PvP and world content after launch, including a revamped "iconic" raid. There is no date for it yet. official
- According to the roadmap slide, two new raids (10 and 20 players) follow in spring 2027, and the revamped raid plus one more in summer 2027. per fan sites
- Long term, each content tier is expected to get one 10-player and one 20-player raid, with 40-player raids only occasionally. per fan sites
- Whether Molten Core or other old raids are playable at launch has not been announced. unconfirmed
