Herbalism Guide 1–300
Herbalism is the gathering profession for herbs. Find every herb with its required skill, its Classic zones, a 1–300 route and who uses herbs in WoW Forever.
Trainers and ranks
You learn the next rank from a trainer once your character level and skill are high enough. The requirement listed is the skill you need beforehand.
| Rank | Skill | Character level | Requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apprentice | up to 75 | level 1+ | – |
| Journeyman | up to 150 | level 10+ | 50 |
| Expert | up to 225 | level 20+ | 125 |
| Artisan | up to 300 | level 35+ | 200 |
- You'll find Herbalism trainers in every capital and many larger towns.
- Herbalism doesn't require a tool.
- Find Herbs shows herbs on the minimap. You get the spell when you learn the profession.
- Starting zones reportedly have junior trainers and a quest where you choose a handbook for Mining, Herbalism or Skinning (2 skill points each, up to 15). per fan sites
Herbs by skill
As in Classic, nodes follow a color rule: up to 25 points above the minimum skill they're orange and always give a skill-up, up to 50 above yellow, up to 100 above green, and beyond that gray with no skill-ups.
Minimum skill and zones follow WoW Classic. Herbs may be distributed differently in WoW Forever; we'll check after launch. The number after a profession is how many recipes use the herb.
