WoW Forever Gear Planner
Build your character's gear: pick a class and level, choose an item for every slot, and the planner totals your stats, armor, resistances and weapon DPS. It also checks set bonuses, level requirements and weapon types.

How the planner works
- Click an empty slot and search by name. The list only shows items for that slot, sorted by item level.
- By default, you only see items your class can use at your level. You can turn off both filters, and the planner will show a warning on the slot instead.
- Percentage stats like hit and crit chance only show up in the in-game tooltip. The planner counts the items that grant them.
- Hover over an item to see its tooltip. Clicking the name opens the item page.

What is the gear planner?
A tool for building your WoW Forever character's gear slot by slot. It totals all stats, shows set bonuses and warns you if your class can't use an item or your level is too low.
Where do the stats come from?
From the WoW Forever game files and our item database. Blizzard changes some items server-side, so when in doubt, trust the in-game tooltip.
How do I share my plan?
The page URL stores your class, spec, level and every selected item. Click “Copy link” and paste it anywhere, for example on Discord.
What does “Load BiS” do?
It fills every slot with the top pick from our BiS list for your chosen spec. The lists are for level 30 in the beta.
Which weapons can Rogues and Druids use in WoW Forever?
Unlike in Classic, Rogues can also use one-handed axes in WoW Forever, and Druids can use polearms from level 20. The planner accounts for this.
