WoW Forever PvP: Honor and Ranks

Honor

• Honor buys two PvP sets: a blue one and an epic one. official
• An epic piece requires the matching blue piece plus an "Emboldened Seal" that has a rank requirement. official
• Honor gains are balanced between battlegrounds, so you don't have to play one specific battleground to progress quickly. official
• In the beta (as of Oct 1), honor costs were raised by about 50%, and the honor cap is 25,000. official

Rank Points and Ranks 1–14

• Rank points take you through the old Classic PvP ranks, up to the top rank 14. There is a weekly cap. official
• Ranks unlock rewards, including a tabard, a PvP trinket and cloaks. official
• Mounts from rank 11, epic weapons at rank 14. official
• Ranks, rewards and honor: PvP ranks 1–14.

PvP Seasons

• PvP runs in seasons with weekly tasks. official
• Three weekly tasks per season (weeks 4, 7 and 10) each award one point in the Legacy System. official

Battleground: Darkspear Islands

• New 15v15 battleground. official
• Levels 30–60. official
• Located off the coast of Dustwallow Marsh. official
• Battlegrounds can mix players from different rulesets, except Hardcore. official

No arenas at launch

WoW Forever launches without arenas or rated PvP, and nothing has been announced for them so far. per fan sites

PvP in the Legacy System

12 of the 65 Legacy challenges come from PvP: ranks 3, 7, 10, 13 and 14, Exalted with four battleground factions and three season weeks. official

On the PvP ruleset you can only play one faction per account: Rulesets and Names.
