WoW Forever Library Books: Rewards and Turn-in

Library cards

The game files contain two library cards. Both are unique and bind on pickup. Where you get them isn't known yet.

Where do I turn in books?

You hand in books one at a time: per fan sites

• Alliance: Garion Wendell · Stormwind City (37.8, 80.2)
• Horde: Owen Thadd · Undercity (73.6, 33.0)

Both NPCs are in our database with their location. That they are the librarians only comes from fan sites.

Rewards

You get a reward after 10, 20 and 25 books. After 25 books you pick one of three items: per fan sites

• Truthseeker's Bow item level 45, from level 40
• Crest of Elucidation item level 45, from level 40
• Researcher's Night Light item level 45, from level 40

These three items are in the game files like this; the tooltip shows their stats. Fan sites also mention a necklace and a ring for the earlier steps. We can't match them to items in our data yet, so we don't name them.

Library Shelf for your camp

There's also a Library Shelf for your camp: it places a shelf of books next to you that works as a library. It needs a campfire nearby. More about camps: Camping.

Where are the books?

We'll add the book locations after launch, from the data our addon collects. You can help: play with our addon and upload your data: Contribute data.

How many books there are differs between sources, so we don't give a number yet.
