Before the run
Blackfathom Deeps lies on the Ashenvale coast, with its entrance half underwater. Alliance players get the quests in Darnassus, Auberdine and Ironforge; the Horde gets them at Zoram Strand in Ashenvale and in the Stonetalon Mountains.
Group
Tank, healer and three DPS. Many paths go through deep water, so Water Breathing or Water Walking makes the run much easier. AoE is very useful at the Shrine of Aku'mai.
Route
From the entrance, head past Ghamoo-ra and Lady Sarevess to Geilhast and on through the ruins, where Lorgus Jett patrols. From there the path leads to the shrine and Twilight Lord Kelris. Lighting the shrine opens the way to Aku'mai. Don't stay underwater longer than you have to – more mobs lurk down there.

Tactics: The leader of the Twilight's Hammer cult puts players to sleep and uses Mind Blast. Dispel sleep off the healer. Afterwards, you light the fires at the shrine – each one summons a wave of mobs, so only light the next one after a breather.
