Before the run
To get in you need the Dalaran Sewer Key: the Horde gets it from a quest chain, the Alliance from a quest in Southshore. For Lyn the Ignored you also need the Tome of Dalaran: loot the Black Tome from Arugal's room in Shadowfang Keep and take it to the ley line structure in the Ambermill town hall.
Group
Beta status (October 2026): tank, healer and three DPS. With nine bosses, Dalaran is a long run. Interrupts, stuns and a decurser pay off; a Paladin with Blessing of Freedom helps against the roots on Fel Ancient.
Route
You start in the sewers, where Atrexis the Grave Knight patrols as the first boss, then fight your way up through the city. The barrier around Fel Ancient only drops once you've talked to the right contact nearby. A Kirin Tor archmage opens a portal to the final boss, Shade of the Archmage.

Bosses, tactics and loot
Arcane AnomalyLevel 30
Tactics: It spams Arcane Bolt on the tank. The dangerous part is Focal Blast: a channeled beam that sweeps across the floor clockwise or counterclockwise for about three seconds. The tank faces the boss away from the group; everyone else moves out of the beam's path.

Fel AncientLevel 32
Tactics: He stands in the middle of the city behind a barrier. Entangle roots players for ten seconds and deals damage, and Fel Timbers leaves green pools on the ground. Get out of the pools immediately; a Paladin frees rooted players with Blessing of Freedom.

Mana Devourer
Tactics: Clear his entire room first, or every mob left joins the fight. Drain Vitality deals arcane damage over time to his main target, and Debilitate hits everyone and drains mana from each player. Kill him fast before your healers go OOM.

Tactics: There's no confirmed beta info on this boss's abilities yet. The tank faces him away from the group, DPS interrupt casts, and healers watch their mana.

Unstable SentinelLevel 31
Tactics: Arcing Smash hits everything in front of it – face it away from the group. Malfunction pulses within 25 yards: ranged just stay outside it, and a stun before the cast prevents it. The tank has to soak a lot of damage.

Shade of the ArchmageLevel 33
Tactics: The final boss spams Arcane Bolt on the tank and throws Bounding Mana: an orb that flies outward, knocks players back and returns, followed by an Arcane Explosion within 20 yards. Move the boss away from where the orb was thrown and spread out. When he runs out of mana, he casts Mass Polymorph and Evocation, and the fight starts over.

Lyn the Ignored
Tactics: An optional boss you can only summon with the Tome of Dalaran. He raises the dead, hits everyone with Shadow Bolt Volley and puts Curse of Thorns on the tank, so the tank takes damage with every hit it lands. Decurse if you can.

Atrexis the Grave KnightLevel 29
Tactics: The Grave Knight patrols with three Kirin Tor necromancers. Kill a few of the adds first, then focus the boss. He disarms the tank, keeps raising the dead with Raise Dead and empowers himself and his minions with Unholy Frenzy.
