Frost Mage Talents & Build – Raid and PvP for WoW Forever
Frost Mages slow and freeze enemies. Ice Lance deals triple damage against frozen targets, Fingers of Frost treats your next spells as if the target were frozen, Winter's Chill increases the crit chance of Ice Lance and Frostbolt, and Ice Barrier protects you with a shield.
Talents, ranks and values come from the WoW Forever game files. Playstyle and stat tips are based on Classic experience; talents and details may differ in Forever.

Frost down to Ice Barrier with Ice Lance, Fingers of Frost, Shatter and Ice Shards. Arcane offers Arcane Concentration and Arcane Meditation for more mana.

PvP Build
PvP build with Frostbite and Improved Frost Nova: you hit frozen enemies especially hard with Ice Lance. Arcane offers Improved Counterspell, so your Counterspell also silences the target, and Arcane Resilience for more armor.

Playstyle and rotation
In raids you mainly cast Frostbolt. When Fingers of Frost procs, use Ice Lance right away; combined with Shatter, it crits very often. In Forever, Winter's Chill only affects your own damage. On groups of enemies, use Blizzard and Cone of Cold. Ice Block and Ice Barrier are your panic buttons.
Stat priority
For Frost Mage, the key stats are spell hit up to the cap, spell damage and spell crit. Intellect gives mana and some crit chance, and Stamina mostly matters in PvP. This priority comes from Classic; stat weights in WoW Forever may differ.
