Fire Mage Talents & Build – Raid for WoW Forever
Fire Mages deal heavy damage through crits. Ignite makes your crits leave a burn, Improved Scorch makes the target more vulnerable to your Fire damage, Heating Up shortens the cast time of Pyroblast after a crit, and Combustion increases your crit chance.
Talents, ranks and values come from the WoW Forever game files. Playstyle and stat tips are based on Classic experience; talents and details may differ in Forever.

Raid Build (PvE)
Fire down to Combustion with Heating Up, Master of Elements, Burning Soul and Incineration. Arcane offers Arcane Concentration and Arcane Meditation for more mana.

Playstyle and rotation
Your main spell is Fireball. In Forever, every Mage has their own Ignite and Improved Scorch effect, so keep them up yourself with Scorch. After a crit, Heating Up makes Pyroblast faster, so cast it then. Use Fire Blast on the move and Combustion together with other cooldowns. On groups of enemies, use Flamestrike, plus Blast Wave if you take it.
Stat priority
For Fire Mage, the key stats are spell hit up to the cap, spell damage and spell crit. Intellect gives mana and some crit chance, and Stamina mostly matters in PvP. This priority comes from Classic; stat weights in WoW Forever may differ.
