Survival Hunter Talents & Build – Raid and PvP for WoW Forever
In Forever, Survival Hunters also fight in melee. Lightning Reflexes increases your Agility, Predator's Edge the damage of your melee crits and your off-hand weapon, Expose Prey and Lacerating Strikes turn Mongoose Bite into a powerful attack, and Survivalist increases your health.

Raid Build (PvE)
Survival down to Lacerating Strikes with Predator's Edge, Improved Tracking, Surefooted and Resourcefulness. Marksmanship offers Lethal Attacks, Careful Aim, Rapid Killing and Mortal Shots.

PvP Build
PvP build with Deterrence, Counterattack, Improved Wing Clip and Strider Kick for fast travel. Survivalist's Discipline shortens the cooldown of your traps and of Deterrence. Marksmanship offers Improved Concussive Shot to stun and Improved Arcane Shot for more frequent Arcane Shot.

Playstyle and rotation
Mark the target with Hunter's Mark: Expose Prey then makes Mongoose Bite available more often, and Lacerating Strikes adds a bleed to it. At range, use Serpent Sting, Arcane Shot and Multi-Shot between Auto Shots; in melee, Raptor Strike and Mongoose Bite. Resourcefulness lowers the mana cost of your melee abilities. How the melee Hunter performs in raids will only become clear after launch.
Stat priority
For Survival Hunter, the key stats are hit, Agility, ranged attack power and crit. Your ranged weapon is your most important piece of gear, and Intellect keeps your mana up. This priority comes from Classic; stat weights in WoW Forever may differ.
