Before the run
The Hall of Thanes lies beneath Ironforge. The Alliance picks up most of its quests in Ironforge and Dun Morogh, while the Horde has to sneak in. For one of the quests you collect dwarven heirlooms scattered throughout the dungeon – many of them are in the vaults near Durgen Dirgehammer.
Group
Beta status (October 2026): tank, healer and three DPS. At level 13–18 parts of the hall are tough, so pull small. A Priest with Fear Ward or a Shaman with Tremor Totem makes the final fight easier.
Route
Faldrim Anvilmar waits in his crypt first, followed by a fire elemental and a golem guardian, and finally Durgen Dirgehammer in the last vault chamber. Watch the patrols so you don't drag extra mobs into the boss fights.

Tactics: The undead dwarf wanders his crypt among undead dwarves and casts Mind Blast and Anvilmar's Curse. Clear a safe area first so you don't pull extra mobs, and decurse if your group can.

InfurnusLevel 16

Tactics: A fire elemental that hits everyone nearby with Fire Nova and puts Combust on random targets. A Dark Iron summoner patrols nearby – kill him first. The tank drags the boss away from the group, while ranged and healers stay out of Fire Nova range.

Tactics: An elemental guardian that knocks players back with Knock Away. Clear plenty of trash first and tank him in a corner so nobody gets knocked into another pack.

Durgen DirgehammerLevel 16
Tactics: The Dark Iron dwarf fears players and puts Rend on the tank. Clear the Dark Iron looters before the pull. Kill the boss first, then the two small stone golems – together they hit the tank hard. Fear Ward or Tremor Totem helps against the fear.
