Patch notes Oct 26: racial changes

Blizzard changed WoW Forever racials before launch: Wind Blessed now 2%, Dwarves +1% hit, Orc Command returns. Every racial change explained.

Blizzard updated the development notes on October 26. Some races are meant to be a bit stronger in certain roles again. The old weapon specializations are not returning. The beta client still shows the old values; until launch, Blizzard's announcement is what counts.

🧬 Racials

• Human: Ruthless gives +1% critical strike chance (was 2%), Human Spirit +10% Spirit (was 5%)
• Dwarf: Earth Fury is removed; the new Artisan's Precision gives +1% hit chance with spells and attacks
• Orc: Savage is removed and Command is back: +5% damage for Warlock and Hunter pets
• Tauren: Plainsrunning gives 2% movement speed per stack, up to 60%, but no longer works while mounted; Endurance now only gives +5% health
• Skyborne: Wind Blessed gives +2% haste (was 3%)
• Read Leyline (High Order): +50% health and mana regeneration for 15 seconds, doesn't stack with Innervate. At a ley line you also get Attuned: +100% for 1 hour, persists through death
• Skysight (Windshapers): +15% movement speed for 15 seconds. At an elemental convergence you also get Charged: +30% for 1 hour, persists through death

Update October 27

• Orc: Blood Fury now has a 2-minute cooldown (was 3)
• Undead: Touch of the Grave has a 15-second internal cooldown (was 25)
• Troll: Berserking now lasts 15 seconds (was 10)
• Skyborne: Charged and Attuned end as soon as you enter a raid

Anything not listed here is unchanged, according to Blizzard.
