Description

In Westfall, outside o' Moonbrook lies Stendel's Pond. Once a pure spring, now touched by dark forces. The spirits there 'ave gone silent. Ye must face the corruption that fouls the waters. Take its bracers and the last drops o' Hervdana's potion, then place 'em on the shrine. That'll call forth a spirit, cleansed and true. Speak with it, learn what ye can. Bring me proof the deed's done, and I'll grant ye the totem. The shrine stands aged and forgotten, cloaked in dust and cobwebs. The pond beside it lies eerily still, its surface untouched by wind or life. Scattered along the shore are the bones of beasts once burdened by labor. The water's murky sheen raises a troubling question--has it been poisoned by the surrounding malaise, or is it the very source of it? You place the bracers atop the shrine and then pour the remaining drops of Norric's potion into dry stone. You begin to incant the simple words Norric taught you and the droplets vaporize atop the stone within the bindings....
